MOVE WITH THE STIR The completeness of a soup is in its stirring. The stirring of the soup was not meant to scatter its formations, but instead to unify and strengthen them, bringing the best out of the soup.I imagine the turbulence that occurs in the pot during the exercise of stirring.I imagine how inconvenient it was for the maggi who had settled in a corner down below the pot when the stirring movement of the stirrer hit it and displaced out of its comfort zone.I imagine the discomfort caused the salt as it was pushed about and around by the stirrer. But little did they know that the ‘turbulence’ in this pot of life was not meant to destabilize them but to launch them fully into their worlds that the taster (Life) may have a feel of their savour and flavour beyond their point of rest and comfort. As it is with the pot of soup, so it is with the pot of life. The turbulence of life at the moment (if you think this wise) will not unsettle you, but rather assist you to move from where you are to where you are needed. Like the seasoning was not just needed at the bottom of the pot but all around it, so are you also not just needed only where you are at the moment. MOVE!!!Be patient, prayerful, and practical. The beautiful thing about life, living it, and getting the best out of it occurs when a movement, a force, a circumstance or intentional decision causes a man to move unto a displacement from where he is, to where he ought to be. Far better still; where he is needed, wanted and expected to be.YOU ARE OF MORE VALUE WHERE YOU ARE NEEDED THAN WHERE YOU WANT TO BE.DARE TO MOVE!WHEN LIFE STIRS, DARE TO MOVEAND WHEN YOU MOVE, MOVE UP, SPREAD AROUND.Life, enemies, and their challenges, like in the case of the boy named Joseph in the Holy Book (Bible), can only cause a turbulence that will cause you to move and move until you have moved into the right position and location to fulfil God’s own purpose for placing you in life’s pot.Akogun Olalekan (C) 2012.
