DIARRHEA OF THE FINGER

D @mn! ...you discover a free, popular, maybe trending platform and the journey to losing yourself immediately commences. These “little toys” given us as dividends of technological advancements have turned out to be the pivot tool advancing many to their heaven or hell (Death; mentally and/or literally). To think there’s very little privacy left in our world today with the advent of social media, it saddens me to see people lose carelessly the little they still get opportunity to protect. Today there's hardly a thing you do without being monitored, tracked or STALKED . You were how old when you realized it is called "Following" for a reason, and what you basically need to do is click the “Follow” button to have yourself “followed” (hahahahaha!). It's true they say "if you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to fear". But I tell you, you're better off with fear, than to find yourself stark naked, and left out in the cold. "Privacy ...

10 Types of “Creatures” In Your WhatsApp Group

Which are you? W hatsApp groups and their complexities, uniqueness and craze. There is no amount of words to describe the absurdity. They're fun, they're serious, they're up, they're done and they're mostly completely random...  We all belong to at least one category, even if we may not want to admit it. You will most definitely find these kinds of people in almost every Whatsapp group, no matter how hard you deny it. 1. Master of Irrelevancies There's always someone in the group who sends all the memes, videos, BCs, etc he/she sees that day. They send them in no particular order, and once we get tired and hit at them, they hide under the "you don't know who might be needing it" gist. We all know it's not going to be their last one no matter how hard we cry... 2. The Error Voicenote Dude There's always one person who's constantly sending voice notes, either because he or she is too lazy to type...

S martphones are getting increasingly expensive by the day. It would cost from about N25,000 - N600,000 to get a smartphone today, and hence care is of the essence. Paying attention to your smartphones cannot be overemphasized, as they have now become an integral part of our day-to-day lives. It is no gainsaying that a couple of us carry in our hands' smartphones that sometimes have proven to be smarter than us, owing to the fact that we often do not explore appropriately the many functions and possibilities of these mobile devices. As for a few who do the aforementioned, they sadly and most often than not, overdo it. Mobile phone users have over the years developed some bad to dangerous smartphone habits. habits both injurious to the user and the phone alike. Many complain of malfunctioning phones, but hardly know they are the causes of these malfunctions. 1. How Do Hurricanes Get Their Names?

How Do Hurricanes Get Their Names? I had consistently wondered how and why storms and hurricanes were given names, and in most cases, human names.  My curiosity had driven me to ponder about so many possibilities.  Most recurrent of my thought was; perhaps the name of the first metereologist to discover or alert about the impending storm was often adopted. But I was wrong after all.  I never gave up my quest until I found convincing and satisfying answers. Answers I chose to share with you here.  " Storms are given short, distinctive names to  avoid confusion  and  streamline".  In the beginning, storms were named arbitrarily. An Atlantic storm that ripped off the mast of a boat named Antje became known as Antje's hurricane. Then the mid-1900's saw the start of the practice of using feminine names for storms. In the pursuit of a more organized and efficient naming system, meteorologists later decided to identify storms usi...

The silliest of questions I suspect it appears to many, but take no offence if you get to find out eventually that your knowledge of the meaning of a smartphone is laughable and/or way off the mark. Amongst a few things I suspect might be running through your mind is the question ; "I hope my phone is truly a Smartphone?". Enough of the assumptions, we should lay them to rest with this piece. A typical smartphone has a high-resolution touch screen display, WiFi connectivity, Web browsing capabilities, and the ability to accept sophisticated applications. The majority of these devices run on any of these popular mo...
