(Pause)..."WHO EXACTLY DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?"

Idealism vs. Realism

From time immemorial, the battle between the Idealists and Realist existed. The bulk of the contentions and disagreement in the world today still take their roots from the unending battle of these two kinds of beings.
Always at logger-heads with their views, don't blame either, it just the way they are.
Families have been torn appart, friends parted ways, nations have splitted in to various countries, as the centre cannot old where these two sit atop the leadership of a particular place (especially at the same or near same time).
It's always and forever will be a life of arguments and contention between these two, very rarely do they com to terms. I wish they learnt to be who they are, things could have been a lot more easier to mend, but unfortunately, they grew into what they were meant to be. As long as you couldn't stop their growth, you wouldn't be stopping their idealistic and realistic nature.
In order for us to be able to differentiate between idealism and realism, we must first have a thorough understanding of the two terms. Idealism is when you envision or see things in an ideal or perfect manner. Realism, on the other hand, tends toward a more pragmatic and actual view of a situation. The two concepts can, in layman's terms, be deemed different in perspectives; with idealism focusing on what could be, and realism focusing on what actually is.
These commonly accepted definitions of the words are rooted in the philosophical uses of the terms. In philosophy, when discussing the issues of perception, idealism is a theory that states that our reality is shaped by our thoughts and ideas. Realism, on the other hand, deals with the fact that reality has an absolute existence independent from our thoughts, ideas and even consciousness.
Using the classic test of whether the glass is half empty or half full as an example, we see that idealists tend to be positive thinkers – i.e. those who see the glass as being half full. Realists many not hold the opposite or negative point of view, but they do view a situation through less hopeful eyes. Realists are stereotypically seen as people who are very rational, who think carefully, and weight their options before making a choice. In this sense, realists make safer and more practical choices when compared to idealists, who may be willing to make more risky decisions.
These perspectives also have an impact on how individuals deal with success or failure in their lives. An idealist who is always in search of the good, and might be less affected by setbacks than a realist. However, being lost in a world of fantasy and unachievable goals may not always be a good thing, as an idealist may set goals that are impossible or grandiose. A realist, on the other hand, is more likely to set achievable goals, and follow their pursuit in a planned manner

Overall, idealism and realism can be understood as two different perspectives. Some of the key differences between them include:
1. Idealism causes you to see things in a very hopeful manner, shaping situations with your own ideas. Realism, on the other hand, causes one to assess a situation as it is, without overt emotional involvement
2. Idealists tend to be more positive when compared to realists, in how they perceive things and carry out tasks.
3. When making decisions, realists are more goal oriented and thorough than idealists, who may have lofty ambitions, but lack the clarity and focus to put them into action in an achievable way.
Whoever it is you think or now have known you are, there's a positive side to handling the inadequacies that may arise or even already exists in such natural tendencies of yours.
Of all areas of concern, the poor management of aggression and handling of views and opinions by these two strikes my heart the most. I strongly believe we would be able to create even more peace in our world if these two will learn to disagree peaceably. And perhaps, who knows? They might just strike a chord of agreement before rapture!
Having said all that,
LISTENING carefully to the other party, while HOLDING your views UNTIL THEY HAVE SPOKEN can help to calm the tension and ease the friction, often a vivid characteristics of arguments between the Idealists and Realist. That bit I believe is achievable, bringing you to agree with eachother? I remain skeptical.
Where do you stand in all of these?,
To which of these two extremes do you think you belong to?, and
How have you been able to manage life with the other party?
.
.
You mean me, my answer?, which of the two variants am I?
Well, you can take some guesses after reading any 2-articles of mine.

Good one... In my opinion, I think we have to find the balance between idealism and realism. They both have advantages and disadvantages just like every other thing in life. So finding a balance is the major issue.

That (il)legal Tender.

"A huge number of humans have their Truth-Reserve/account either fat or static. We rarely withdraw nor spend from it, and will rather run life's transactions with that (il)legal tender, LIES". -TW™ Its not so amazing today how accepted, tolerated, and infact enjoyed (in the actual sense) lies are. Little wonder I chose to coin it as "(il)legal Tender". Illegal tender in every sense of it, yet legal tender judging by the widespread acceptance and employment of it. Why Account? Account owing to the fact that we know the truth, identify it, gather it, but yet fail to employ it, resulting to a mere build up (Account/Reserve) in our hearts, while refusing to spend/transact with it. Note: Truth spent yields even more dividends that truth stored. Why Lie? The "cover my/your arse" mentality/syndrome has taken the good-life over from us, I wonder why on God's earth we left our arses open in the first place, and who told us lies truly covers anyone'

"Meanings Make The Man, His Definitions Define Him"

"Its difficult, if not impossible to respond beyond your heart". How do I mean? "Your conceived, derived and/or imbibed idea of thing, defines your attitude towards it"-TW™ You've always wondered why you act the way you do, react the way you do, or respond to things the way you do. Hey, am not talking temperaments here, the boss (Tim Lahaye) already did, and he "took it to the cleaners'. Even in deceit, its a hard thing to behave/respond to a thing beyond what you think about it, know about it, and the values you have placed on it. Catching a golden mug falling directly towards your head for example is a scenario that captures correctly an aspect of my discourse. There exist a couple of options to this, and believe me, every man could respond differently to this situation. One of the responses to expect, which I know you know already is; Catching the mug, preventing it from hitting your head or even the fall. Another response would be; completely do

You Didn't Deserve To Die, I Didn't Deserve Your Life.

"Though you knew the world won't receive you, you still gave your life to try. Wonderful Jesus, how can I fathom you!" -TW™ What a burden you chose to carry, what a load of Sin. Without my burden, you rode on a donkey, with mine and the whole world's upon you, you decided walking on your feet was better. What manner of man are you? You saw us kill you, yet you allowed it, for you, anything will do, just as long as it'll please the Father. The bruises and the stripes alone was good enough, if it was just about the shedding of blood, you gave it in good quantity through the torture suffered in the hands of the Roman soldiers, you really did not need to die. This was more, this was great, in fact, "Greater love than this no man can give". You paid it all, you laid your life, you paid the ultimate price that I might live. Rejected and abandoned, yet all you saw was me. Disgraced, crucified and killed for a crime you had no hand in, yet all you saw w
