Was sung into my ears right from when I knew what. Many said to me as if it was the only way. I never used to understand, because in my case I saw things differently. Consistency at work was more like it to me, it wasn't like to me what they made it seem.
Extreme they made it sound, like what you'll do and die doing. I used to wonder at times, what magnitude of misconception they had of it.
The first syllable I think was more of it to them, while the last syllable made the most of sense to me. Idealists reasoned but not many of them reasoned it through. Teachers of morals tried, but still failed to grab the underlying fact.
To many, the "Hard" part was it all, but the "Work" in it seemed all to me.
Absence of work, is what will spell doom, the prefix "hard" is actually something we can still do without. Consistency at work makes the sense in a whole, and is what the word(Hard work) means.
Sadly, it isn't the "HARD" so much stressed by all and sundry that does it, instead it all boils down to the better half of the word "Work".
I beg to counsel, STOP MAKING HARD WORK SOUND LIKE PAIN WORK, STRAIN WORK, STRESS WORK... It might sound and appear to us like any of the afore mentioned, but it really is not the original idea.
Our ideas, values, and the synopsis of our thoughts is what has brought us to this erroneous point.
Many will naturally not work at all if hard work is defined as pronounced.
These lines I write, not to cloud the air, but instead clear it, because the fear of hard work is taking its toll on everyone.
Today, at the mention of Hard work, there's a sudden fright that drags along with it a silence that depicts impossibility. You need not go too far to get a feel of what I'm saying, only turn around to tell your neighbour that all he needs is hard work, and take a minute or two to study his countenance and you'll stand to teach this topic better that I did.
HARD WORK IS NO KILL WORK, hard work is no death work, hard work is no pain work, hard work is no haarrrrd work.
HARDWORK IS MERELY CONTINIOUS WORK, HARDWORK IS SIMPLY CONSISTENCY AT WHAT YOU DO. AS LONG AS YOU'RE WORKING, AND WON'T STOP WORKING AT WHAT YOU'RE WORKING, YOU'RE HARDWORKING ALREADY, EVEN IF IT DOESN'T COST YOU A SWEAT DROP.
Tell me, who would say working under a fully air-conditioned atmosphere, where work is done in a conducive condition has seized to be work?
Hence, make your work as sweet and enjoyable to you as much as you can. Enjoy your work and be consistent at it. Hardwork is never MUSCLE WORK but BRAIN, TIME and CONSISTENT work.
