Pull Out!!!

"1. Arguments going beyond 15mins, especially when they don't improve your economic value, #PullOut 2. 30mins gone, trying to convince someone of a matter, especially when it doesn't affect your continuous existence/living, #PullOut 4. Debating religious doctrines and/or actions of supposed clerics, especially when you know it's your life to live, and your prerogative to face the "Great White Throne" as an individual, #PullOut 5. Years gone living another man's life, trying to please some persons/group, to the detriment of your own joy, #PullOut 6. Forever long in evil, too scared to face the repercussions of quitting. Just know life's time & chance and that death is once, #PullOut 7. Read from 1-6 and still can't comprehend fully/at all, nor are you fired-up to take the bold step? don't you #PullOut, read again!" -TW™  S ome things are not just worth it, yet it's observed that we spend, not even in

A LOT BUT NOT ENOUGH

"I try to think enough , but end up thinking only a lot . " This one mistake, a million and one humans are and continuously guilty of. The ideas and in fact meanings of the words "A lot" and "Enough" ordinarily cannot be interchanged.  The one speaks quantity, while the other speaks 'volumes'; Quantity and Quality , Abundance and Adequacy , Plenty and Sufficiency . See, that a thing is done many times and over, would not necessarily translate to being done enough, That it is in abundant supply, would not automatically depict that it's sufficient. I know your eyebrows are raised by now and you are gearing up to argue out the aforementioned with me, but just before you do, I'll ask you, have you looked up these words really? Have you a grammatical idea (let's pipe down a little on the psychology of the words for now) of them? To be ABUNDANT/A LOT means; "To have in great quantity, extent or degree".

LET CONSCIENCE LIVE!!!

"Conscience: A sense of moral awareness or of right and wrong. The concept has been variously explained by moralists and philosophers. In the history of ethics, the conscience has been looked upon as the will of a divine power expressing itself in man's judgments, an innate sense of right and wrong resulting from man's unity with the universe, an inherited intuitive sense evolved in the long history of the human race, and a set of values derived from the experience of the individual. Psychologists also differ in their analyses of the nature of conscience. It is variously believed to be an expression of values differing from other expressions of value only in the subject matter involved, a feeling of guilt for known or unknown actions done or not done, the manifestation of a special set of values introjected from the example and instruction of parents and teachers, and the value structure that essentially defines the personality of the individual. As a practical matter,

JUST DO IT!

"JUST DO IT! What? JUST DO IT! Why? JUST DO IT! ...Tell me something else, there's something I'm yet to know, and failure to have me know it will have me JUST DOING IT." ***SIGH*** What a way to start a piece of writing I bet you're wondering. Many by now have figured where and to whom exactly the afore mentioned phrase (JUST DO IT) belong. For those who haven't, its a byline, a trademark of one of the world's biggest sport kit company, NIKE. Since its famous break into limelight, this word has never seized to inspire. At the mention of that phrase, you adrenaline pumps with a characteristic tickle in your body. The question of what exactly to do is usually not far-fetched. At the mention of the word "Just Do It" in your mind's-mouth, and more palpably, even from a person's lips or when read in a book, on a wall or on billboards, there commence a mind-scan/probe, you ordinarily want to relate it to something, you natural

"In PURSUIT of Happiness"

These lovely words came first from the pen of Thomas Jefferson(A one time U.S president) and are a part of the U.S. Declaration of Independence from Great Britain. As our use of language changes though, the original meaning of that phrase has been lost. When Jefferson wrote "the pursuit of happiness" he meant something similar to "the practice of happiness." Think about the whole phrase this way - "life, liberty and the practice of happiness." We have life, we have liberty, and we can have happiness. Happiness has never been something to aspire to, but something to practice, or most fittingly, BE. As I think about this concept I recognize that we spend much of our time in pursuit, when what we really need to do is practice what we want. For example, it wouldn`t be enough to be in pursuit of an Olympic Gold Medal, you know the only way to get there is to practice. This may seem very obvious for the kinds of skills already associated with practice (

WHEN WHAT YOU WANT DON'T WANT YOU

There's been a lot of talk about destiny, and even much more about its workings. Some believe it is the dream maker, many believe it is the determinant of all things. As much as it appears we understand this phenomenon, it remains clear we really do not understand completely, its workings. To properly comprehend this phenomenon(I call it a phenomenon), we need to observe "DESTINY" in its various forms, as a WORD, and as a PHENOMENON. To define on the surface, destiny is FATE. The fate of a person or thing (although not so appropriate for inanimate objects). Destiny or fate is a predetermined course of events.[1] It may be conceived as a predetermined future, whether in general or of an individual. It remains another topic entirely to discuss around the origins of destiny, the origins of a man's fate. Save its superficial(as some see it) definition, some will refuse to accept that it is predestined. Their stand on it, is that MAN WORKS HIS DESTINY, as everyone

THE CHANGE YOU NEED

....Come let us reason together! Change; and event that occurs when something passes from one state or phase to another. This could be as a result of an alteration or modification. To undergo change is to become difference in essence, to undergo change is to experience a degree of transformation. Change could mean a replacement of a thing with some other or same kind.... Change could just mean about everything in the world. As the famous saying goes "Change Is Constant", it remains a constant force the holds the earth in its spinning and its people in their living. It is only natural for man to be sick of being the same man over a number of days, months and years. At every point in time, man dreams a change, a positive, forward moving change. The life of man is such designed to desire an extra, everyman wants an improvement upon his yesterday today. Some dream a change from worst to worse, worse to bad, bad to good, good to better, better to excellent, as some sitti

Before You Judge Them

It is overtly said that "Nothing Just Happens", and all that is today has got a reason or two behind their existence. In my search to find something here that has no reason or basis to be here, I found out after careful observation, that I could only lay my hand on an entity called 'nothing'. It is widely accepted that only a seemingly insane person does a thing without a reason. This view we have held for time immemorial now, but the correct arrangement of that sentence would carry in it, the word 'Known'. Put correctly, "Only a seemingly insane person does a thing without a KNOWN reason". 'Known' here in itself again is subjected to further scrutiny, as what isn't known to you may be known to some other fellow, as even the mad man has a reason for his actions, he's just so mad that he can't explain or tell. Come to think of it, how many will wait to listen, if he cared to explain???. The subject matter today like the caption

MANAGING ANXIETY

(Anxiety: definition;) *A vague unpleasant emotion that is experienced in anticipation of something. *1. Being anxious. 2. Worry or concern. 3. Eagerness, troubled desire. (Oxford Dictionary of English.) It is an emotional state in which people feel uneasy, apprehensive, or fearful. All people experience anxiety to some degree. Most people feel anxious when faced with a new situation, such as a first date, or when trying to do something well. Generally, expectations breed anxiety. A mild to moderate amount of anxiety in situations that warrant them is normal and even beneficial. Anxiety can motivate people to prepare for an upcoming event and can help keep them focused on the task at hand. People usually experience anxiety about events they cannot control or predict, or about events that seem threatening or dangerous. However, too little anxiety or too much anxiety can cause problems. Individuals who feel no anxiety when faced with an important situation may lack alertness and f

WHEN TO SAY WHAT

Everybody has something they want/don’t want to hear in every different situation. There are words meant for particular purposes and situations, and not every word can be said at a particular time. It is a true statement of fact that love and care cannot be perfected without words, but it’s far better to keep quiet than to speak inappropriate words to a person in a condition. Without much ado, we’ll take some examples to start with. ***What do you say to a person who has just lost something valuable/precious? *Don't dare say... -"It just wasn't meant to be." It's easy to be philosophical when it's not happening to you. -"Are you going to try again?" When someone's grieving over a loss, he/she doesn't really want to think about another just yet. -"At least you know you can get another!" Right, but he/she also knows they can lose it again. Not something they want to be reminded of. *Do say... -"I'm so sorry to
