The 2015 Grammy Awards WINNERS LIST
The 2015 Grammy Awardswas an exciting one and was full of surprises but in the awards given and other antics. Newcomer, Sam Smith stunned all by taking home 4 well-deserved awards including Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Rap heads, for the first time are happy with the year's rap awards (mostly because Iggy didn't steal it as expected) as respected rap figures won the awards this time. Eminem won Best Rap album and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration while Kendrick Lamar won Best Rap Performance and Best Rap song for i.
Iggy who was nominated for 3 awards and who people were scared will end up with Best Rap Album unfortunately did not win any while Beyonce who was tipped to clinch the Album of the Year (and then lost to Becks! Several years after the demise of late M.K.O Abiola, the last Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, the Alaafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and his cabinet chiefs are searching for another man who is bold, revered and dignified enough to put on the armoured title. Deputy Editor Adewale Adeoye reports
Who will be the next 'war general' of the Yoruba nation? The knocks of his shoe heels on the floor was all that was to be heard in the auditorium, as the whole place had gone dead silent on his appearance.
Startled by this scene, and confused by the thought of trying to reason out what exactly was going on, the priest could at best draw out his white handkerchief from the pocket of his robe as he wiped his face severally as if to say, every one wipe made him see better.
For all those minutes it took this man to make his way up the alter, I understood better the meaning of the medical term "SHOCK".
The bride, you mean what was happening to her? I fear we don't go there, she had gone past the stage of something hap…
