DIE ANOTHER DAY

“Am too tired to fight, yet too learned to run. There’s no other day to die, but today”
These words rung severely in my head like a ‘school-over’ bell, as I engaged in, for the fourth time, what I term to be “The fight of my life”.
It is a long existing idea that man can live to “Die Another Day” but the pain of it today is that this concept is often mis-used than used. More confused a phrase than understood, more nowadays a defence on the lips of cowards.
Ian Fleming produced a 007 classic in 2002 titled “Die Another Day”.
“Pierce Brosnan the fictional James Bond was on a mission to North Korea, when he was betrayed after seemingly killing a rogue North-Korean colonel. He was captured and imprisoned. More than a year later, he was released as part of a prisoner exchange. His quest became to earn redemption, by finding his betrayer and killing a North-Korean agent he believes was involved in his torture… (Okay I know you're feeling the storyline, but Let's save the details *Smile*)
Before we move further, may I quickly make a note. "There was never a winner who didn’t want to win". It takes a conscious effort to make something out of life. There’s no other day to die but today, once again I reiterate.
The noble phrase “Die Another Day”, was made famous by Ian Fleming in his master class Hollywood story. One that taught pure heroism, not cowardice. Risk-taking, and not arms folding.

ALL WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN, BUT NONE WANTS TO DIE. Little do we know that our being bereft of heaven is also borne out of not wanting to die. If you really want to go live in heaven, then the echoes of death will bring to you nothing but excitement. #Tough
The matter tabled today, is one of winning cum risk-taking. The extent of risk taken/ willing to take define of a truth the extent you want what you want. Put simply, your risk typifies the degree of your want.
Some want it so badly, they wish for it all day and all night, they wish so hard, yet they sit so flat.
Some want it so badly, they just want to try. Whether it works or not, to them will only remain news.
Some want it so badly, they’re willing to, and put their whole life on it, not minding what the result would turn out to be.
Yet, some are too scared to want it; they always want to play it safe, if wanting it will cost them a thing, then they’ll rather remain as they are.
Analysing carefully these classes of people, first I discovered, and this I call major:
*Everybody belongs somewhere in this grouping.
*Everybody wants something.
*Some will eventually get nothing.
I also discovered after much consideration that; those who were/are too careful about life and what people will say, were the once who made little or nothing out of it.

Only those with a complete understanding of this sentence will die another day. Oh, I thought I told you only a winner dies another day, the loser dies there and then. Sometimes, even before the battle commences.
I thought of how simply this could be put without aggravating the existing mix-ups about who really dies another day (The quitter or risk-taker cum winner). I concluded it was of utmost importance that I stated or counselled that you; “Choose to die over it today, that you may live to die another day”
Its share cowardice to ride on the wings of pleasure at all times, sitting back all day, always wishing to take a step.
Amazingly, that heaven we so much love and wish to partake of (yet don't want to die), some saw, and the next we heard them say was the sentence;
‘TO DIE IS GAIN’ (Phil 1:21)#Deep. Obviously, if it’s worth the having, then it’s worth the risk.
“Death” in this piece may mean a whole lot to one and many. What it is you’re facing/not facing (shying away from) now is what defines in the long run, death to you.
The one quoted up there, goes by the name Saint Paul, and for him, death was as far as giving up the ghost for what he believed in. He and many others who plied his route, re-wrote within my heart, proving his worth by staking the risk for his faith and tanding out.
Enough of sitting back, you need to try something.
Enough of wishing, get up and ‘eat that frog’.

Take that calculated (not haphazard) risk, if you win, you’ll be happy you did. And if it goes the other way, you’ll be wiser to do it better on your next try.
To be fair to a few who have tried times without number. It's true, like me in the opening sentence of this piece, you might by now be too tired to fight (Try again), but please, you're too learned (Inspired) to run (quit). There's no better day to die (take the risk), but today.
This I share to stirr your thoughts, this I share to provoke your spirit in a positive direction. Hopefully, by the close of this piece, you can tell exactly where you stand, and what steps you’ll be taking thereafter.
Everything is a risk, from sleeping to waking up. I tell you, those who wouldn’t dare to take the risk of sleeping are those who will certainly ‘sleep’ sooner than they expected.
